Description

The Fleet Logistics Center Jacksonville, Florida intends to solicit for cleaning, inspection, plasma replacement, and EB weld repair of TF34 compressor front spools identified below for the Fleet Readiness Center Southeast, Jacksonville, FL. Nomenclature Part Numbers Front Spool Stage 3-8 6036T75P01 / 6036T75P02 / 6036T75P03 The requirement is for 100 per year. The proposed procurement is for a base year and two one-year option periods. The period of performance will be 01 October 2012 through 30 September 2013 for the base period. FOB Destination. The resulting contract will be a Fixed Price Requirements type contract with task order provisions. This requirement is to be solicited under full and open competition. This requirement is identified under NAICS Code 336412 with the small business size standard of 1000 employees. Vendors must be an Approved Source per the Joint Aeronautical Commanders Group Aviation Critical Safety Item Management Handbook of 16 Mar 2011 and Joint Aeronautical Commanders Group Aviation Source Approval and Management Handbook of 16 Mar 2011 to be considered for award. The complete statement of work and technical specifications will be provided in the Request for Proposal (RFP). The anticipated release date of the RFP is on or about 15 June 2012 and will close 30 days thereafter. The RFP will be made available electronically at the Federal Business Opportunities (www.fedbizopps.gov) and the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (www.neco.navy.mil) web sites. It is the responsibility of the interested parties to independently review the referenced websites frequently for updates. No paper copies of these documents will be issued. Offerors must be registered and active in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database to be considered for award. See www.ccr.gov for further information and instruction.
