Description
Claims Database SOW/TEC ACCESS TO THOMSON REUTERS MARKET SCAN COMMERCIAL CLAIMS DATABASE OA-393-2012-0022 THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; A SEPARATE WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. QUOTES ARE BEING REQUESTED. The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services intends to award using Simplified Acquisition Procedures, a firm fixed priced purchase order for "Access to Thomson Reuters Market Scan Commercial Claims Database" for 2011, in addition to continued access to their Commercial Claims database for 1998 to 2011 for OACT, CCIIO and a rider for one contractor: The Statement of Work/Deliverables and Technical Considerations are attached. All business proposals shall be submitted in whole dollars only, rounded to the nearest dollar." The period of performance is award through December 2013. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) is 423450. The Request for Quote (RFQ) is being set aside for small business concerns. Responses must be sent electronically in MS Word format to lucille.lee@cms.hhs.gov no later than 11:00am on June 6, 2012. The Government intends to award a purchase order to the responsible offeror whose quotation offers the best combination of technical capabilities and proposed price; the best value (considering price and other factors). All responses/quotes submitted shall remain valid for a period of 180 days. Interested parties must be able to affirm no conflicts of interest with parties involved in Medicare claims processing in light of the work identified in this Statement of Work. In the event that the vendor/government identifies a conflict, the vendor shall be responsible for providing a mitigation strategy that satisfies the government. In the event that the conflict cannot be resolved, the order cannot be awarded or an existing order may need to be terminated. All questions should be submitted electronically by May 30, 2012. Questions will not be answered by telephone.
