- Vendor Questions (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) This solicitation, FA2517-12-T-6034, is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-59. (iv) This acquisition is being procured as full and open competition. The NAICS code for this requirement is 721110, Hotels (except Casino Hotels) and Motels and the size standard is $30M. A single award will be made as a result of evaluation of quotes. (v) The following CLIN is applicable to this RFQ. CLIN DESCRIPTION QTY UNIT OF ISSUE 0001 Conference Support 1 Lot The contractor shall provide conference support and hotel rooms in accordance with the attached Performance Work Statement. (vi) The 21st Contracting Squadron/LGCBB is requesting a quote to provide conference support for the upcoming Worldwide Joint Training and Exercise Scheduling Conference (WJTSC) 12-2 to be held in Colorado Springs from 17-21 September 2012. The Performance Work Statement (PWS) is attached. Note: Per PWS paragraph 2.2.4., the 340 hotel rooms identified is only an estimation and the Government will not be responsible to compensate the contractor if all rooms are not occupied. The current applicable Wage Determination 1995-0765 Revision 26, June 13, 2011 (see attached), may apply to this solicitation. Please review and complete provision 52.222-52, Exemption from Application of the Service Contract Act to Contracts for Certain Services--Certification (Nov 2007) attached. (vii) The dates and place of performance is 17-21 September 2012 in Colorado Springs, CO. (viii) The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items (February 2012), applies to this acquisition. Offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration Database at www.ccr.gov in order to be considered for award. Include with the quote your DUNS number, Cage Code, Tax ID, and terms and conditions. The Government will not provide contract financing for this acquisition. (ix) The provision at FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation--Commercial Items (January 1999), applies to this acquisition. Paragraph (a), evaluation will be based on LPTA, lowest price meeting technical requirements. To be considered technically acceptable, the offeror must demonstrate the ability to meet the specific requirements in the attached PWS. There is a five (5) page limitation to demonstrate the offerors ability to meet the requirements of the PWS.
