Description
THE SOLICITATION ISSUE DATE IS CHANGED TO MAY 23, 2012. THE CLOSING DATE IS CHANGED TO JUNE 22, 2012. The solicitation issue date is changed to April 12, 2012. Closing date is May 14, 2012. LTC RA12019003, NSN 1560-01-207-7485, Windshield Panel, Aircraft. Manufacture in accordance with Sikorsky Aircraft, CAGE 78286, P/N 70216-01009-101. Approved sources are Sikorsky Aircraft, CAGE 78286; GSE Dynamics, CAGE 29183; PPG Industries, CAGE 53117; and GKN Aerospace Transparency System, CAGE 86175. Specifications, plans, or drawings relating to this procurement described are not available and cannot be furnished by the Government. The solicitation will result in an indefinite quantity contract with one, one-year base period and four, one-year option periods. The estimated annual demand quantity is 552 each. The guaranteed minimum quantity is 138 each. The maximum contract quantity over the life of the contract is 5520 each. Production lead-time is 96 days. FOB at Destination. Inspection/acceptance at Destination. Option to extend terms of contract 48 months. Duration of contract period 60 months. This solicitation includes Provision 52.215-9023, Reverse Auction. Since a Reverse Auction may be conducted, offerors are encouraged to access the Ariba Systems and review the Reverse Auction help tutorials at http://govauctions.supplier.ariba.com to learn more about how to participate in an auction. Item is source-controlled. Item is of critical application. Configuration control applies. A Mylar is required and is the contractor's responsibility. Certified Cost or Pricing data may be required. A Small Business Subcontracting Plan is required. Surge & Sustainment is required. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
