Description
ITEM: Adapter Kit, Test NSN: 4920-01-601-7067RN PART NUMBER: IAW Purchase Description: PD12WRGRVEC01 The Adapter Kit, Test consists of an electronic turning tool which is used to rotate the high pressure compressor rotor of the F108-CF-100 aircraft engine so borescoping of the engine can be performed. Dimensions shall not exceed: length: 36 inches, height: 24 inches, width: 24 inches, and weight: 35lbs. The electronic turning tool shall have a variable speed with a minimum speed of no less than 10 minutes per revolution and a maximum speed of no greater than one minute per revolution. The electronic turning tool shall also be capable of operating bi-directionally with backlash compensation. The electronic turning tool must be able to generate a minimum of 30 ft-lbs (or equivalent) of torque. This requirement is for a basic quantity of two (2) each and 4 Option Periods. Option I is for a quantity range of 1-4 EA and is valid for 365 days. Option II is for a quantity range of 1-4 EA and is valid for 730 days. Option III is for a quantity range of 1-4 EA and is valid for 1095 days. Option IV is for a quantity range of 1-4 EA and is valid for 1460 days. Options may be exercised for Air Force (USAF), DoD, or FMS requirements. Assets will be shipped FOB origin. DELIVERY: Place of delivery for basic quantity is 2 EA to FE6302. Delivery is 180 days after receipt of award. Delivery of options is 180 days after exercise of options. Option quantities ship to is TBD. The approximate RFP issue date will be Friday, June 5, 2012; proposals will be due July 5, 2012. The RFP will be posted to the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website. The purchase description may be obtained at FBO when the solicitation is posted. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation at www.fedbizopps.gov only. NO TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL BE HONORED and no hard copies will be mailed out. Offerors shall prepare their proposals in accordance with mandatory, explicit and detailed instructions contained in the RFP.
