This is NOT a solicitation announcement. This is a request for information only. Do not submit pricing information. Responses to this sources sought shall NEITHER constitute responses to solicitation which is not currently available NOR a request to be added to a prospective bidders list to receive a copy of the solicitation. The decision to solicit for a contract shall be solely the Government's discretion. The Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center is seeking information for potential vendors to provide the following products: Item 1: Product No.: 7245C Description: Digital Video Recording Module Quantity: 1 each Manufacturer: KayPentax (or equal) Items to be Incl: Module includes hardware and software for fluoroscopy, Professional quality digital video (and audio) acquisition and playback, Compute (Current Intel core 17 2.6GHz. Quad core) 3 GB of system RAM, 3.5 terabytes of hard disk storage, four removable video archive hard drives (500GB each), Two internal uncompressed video drives (500GB ea), OS drives 500GB, DVD+-R/RW writing capability, 19" Monitor with speakers, Windows XP Professional, Complete report generator 9OUTPUT AS A Word file with images), Convenient footpedal control of recording/pause, Lapel microphone for exam narration, Patient database with user-definable fields, Exam management system under software control for easy retrieval of exams; removable hard drives with large storage capacity, Utility for converting exams to multimedia formats (MPEG), Easy DVD creation of exam, Instant access to any portion of exam; frame by frame and slow-motion review, Important: To record the video from fluoroscopy, the signal must be in NTSC format, otherwise a scan converter is needed, and Precise frame accurate correlation of video and physiologic data. Item 2: PRODUCT No: 7264C Description: Color Printer Quantity: 1 EA. Manufacturer: Color ink-jet printer (digital) which includes initial supply of 8 1/2" x 11" paper and 4" x 6" high gloss photography paper. Suitable for reports and image printing. Two paper trays. Item 3: Product No: 7251 Description: DICOM Interface for Swallowing Workstation Quantity: 1 EA. Manufacturer: This software plug-in for the 7245C software adds DICOM compatibility. Item 4: Product No: 7138 Description: Scan Converter Quantity: 1 EA. Manufacturer: Bidirectional scan converter. Allows Digital Video Recording Module to record from hi-line fluoroscopy system. Item 5: Product No: 7273 Description: Cart Quantity: 1 EA. Manufacturer: Portable Cart (44"H x 33.25"W x 23"D) Includes (adjustable) shelves and racks. Item 6: Product No: 7198 Description: Setup and Training Quantity: 1 EA. Manufacturer: Factory-authorized setup and training on system. Please also be advised that the designated office's email cannot receive any attachments exceeding 5MB.
