- Statement of Work - Medical Group Linen This announcement serves as a Sources Sought Synopsis issued for the purpose of market research in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10. This Sources Sought is issued solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation nor is this notice a request for quotations. DO NOT submit a quote or proposal in response to this synopsis. For the purpose of this acquisition, the North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 812331 and the size standard is $30M. The purpose of this notice is to identify companies capable and qualified to provide Linen (Laundry) Services for the Shaw AFB Medical Treatment Facility. Description 1. Linen (Laundry) Service - see attached Statement of Work All interested firms shall submit a response demonstrating their capabilities to provide the service to the Primary Point of Contact listed below. As stipulated in FAR 15.201, responses to this notice are not considered offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. No solicitation exists; therefore, do not request a copy of the solicitation. The decision to solicit for a contract shall be solely within the Government's discretion. If your firm is capable and qualified to provide the above linen services, please respond via email no later than 1400 EST, 4 Jun 2012.
