THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. It is anticipated that a request for proposals will be issued in the near future. The proposed North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 811219, Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance, size standard is $19M. Responses should identify if they are a small business or small disadvantaged business concern, based on this NAICS code. Telephone: 432-268-2660 Subject: Calibration and service for Medtronic cell saver Autolog Systems. Description: The New Mexico VH Healthcare System seeking potential sources to provide Calibration and service for Medtronic cell saver Autolog Systems. Please submit expressions of interest in your own format to include documentation of the firm's capabilities in sufficient detail for the Government to determine that your company possesses the necessary expertise and experience to compete for this acquisition. Please ensure responses do not exceed ten (10) pages. Since this is a Source Sought Announcement, no evaluation letters will be issued to the participants. This synopsis is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government and no contract will be awarded from this announcement. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement. The due date for submission of the information is 12:00 pm central time on Thursday May 24, 2012. All information must be sent to the e-mail address listed above in the contracting office information section. Statement of Work The NMVAHCS is requesting the calibration and service on Medtronic cell savers used in cardiac surgeries, to include a base year plus four option years. The following cell savers are required for maintenance and repair: EE#: 37716, S/N: 7114, Model: ATLG110, ACQ Date: 07/24/2003, Location: 3C 123B EE#: 37717, S/N: 7119, Model: ATLG110, ACQ Date: 07/24/2003, Location: 3C 132 EE#: 41942, S/N: 9056, Model: Autolog, ACQ Date: 09/13/2005, Location: 3C 132 The contractor shall provide service during normal business hours. They must also provide a number to call for technical support. In addition, emergency calls shall be answered by appointment for repairs. The C&A requirements do not apply, and that a Security Accreditation Package is not required.
