This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Minimum Performance Requirements: Multibeam shall consist of dual frequencies of 200 KHz and 400 kHz to allow for accurate seafloor coverage at varying depths up to 100 meters. Multibeam shall have capability of up to or better than.5 degrees by 1 degree beams dynamically focused to maximize accuracy and area coverage. Multibeam shall have a minimum swath of 140 degrees. Required to maximize the swath coverage resulting in reduced fuel consumption for the surveys. Beam spacing shall consist of equiangular or equidistant to insure maximum accuracy. Multibeam shall consist of Real-Time bathymetry display to ensure proper data recording and eliminating repeated surveys. Multibeam shall consist as a minimum of 256 dynamic focused beams per ping resulting in high density soundings ensuring accurate surveys. Also increases the amount of survey data collected in the survey area for modeling. Maximum update rate shall consist of at least 50Hz to maximize accuracy. Exports beam-formed imagery data required for after survey data processing. Required for quality control of data being collected and processed. Depth resolution shall be 5mm or greater required for after survey data processing. Pulse length shall be 50 to 300 micro seconds to maximize accuracy. Depth rating shall be a minimum of 100 meters to insure threshold accuracy needed for deep waters of survey operation areas. System shall be integration capable with Hypack/Hysweep data collection and process software currently used by Seattle District. System shall be installed by contractor and will be hull mounted onto the Seattle Districts 34 boat. Any fabrication or design needed for the install of the Multibeam system on the 34 boat will be performed by the contractor.
