Description: THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE IS AN ADVANCE NOTICE FOR INFORMATION, MARKET RESEARCH, AND PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY. NO SOLICITATION IS AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. INTRODUCTION: The Naval Facilities Expeditionary Logistics Center (NFELC) manages the procurement of Civil Engineering Support Equipment (CESE) Table of Allowance (TOA) items. NFELC is responsible for equipping, mobilizing, and sustaining the Naval Construction and Expeditionary forces with Civil Engineering Support Equipment (CESE) and Civil Engineering End Items (CEEI). NFELC must maintain a ready fleet of CESE and CEEI to support the Navy, Marine Corps, and other Department of Defense (DOD) components worldwide. PURPOSE NFELC seeks to obtain two (2) Concrete Placing Pump Trucks. The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, and services necessary to design, engineer, fabricate, and deliver the equipment. The equipment must be delivered to Naval Base Ventura County, Port Hueneme, CA. REQUIRED CAPABILITIES Concrete Placing Pump Trucks (herein after called śpump truck ť). The pump truck shall have a truck-mounted pump, JP-8 Fuel Compatible, have concrete output of 210 cubic yards per hour, have a 100 foot vertical, and 86 feet-11 inch horizontal reach. All material utilized in the construction of the pump truck shall be new and unused. The pump truck shall have a minimum of a 5 section folding boom with an opening standard hopper cover and optional 180-degree discharge elbow that rotates for convenient attachment of system. must be capable of operating at extreme weather conditions. See attachment #1 PWS for more details. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE The period of performance is from issuance of the contract through 30 September 2014. PLACE OF PERFORMANCE The contractor shall provide all required components and deliver at least one pump truck to each one of two destinations: 1) Naval Base Ventura County, Port Hueneme, CA. and 2) NCBC Gulfport, MS.
