Description
The Contracting Department, Fleet Logistics Center, Norfolk (FLCN) Groton Office, Groton, Connecticut 06349 intends to negotiate a firm fixed price contract for a audio and lighting console workstations and all associated equipment for the School of Music, Little Creek Theater Joint Expeditionary Base (JEB), Little Creek, VA utilizing procedures under FAR 15.304 Contracting by negotiation. The period of performance will begin around 01 Jun 12 and be completed by 30 Aug 12. The anticipated award date is on or about 30 May 12. The requirement will be solicited using 100% small business set-aside competitive procedures. The NAICS code applicable to this procurement is 334310. The size standard is 750 Employees. The Request for Proposal (RFP) N00189-12-R-G007, and any documents related to this procurement, and all amendments issued will be in electronic form. The RFP will be posted to this site (Navy Electronic Commerce Online or NECO). The NECO website has a œsubmit bid  button next to the solicitation number. DO NOT use the œsubmit bid  button on NECO to submit your quotation. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the Government. By submitting a proposal, the offeror will be self-certifying that neither the principal corporate officials nor owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any Federal Agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the offer. The Contracting Officer reserves the right to conduct verbal or written discussions with respect to other than price with the offerors at anytime prior to award. By submission of an offer, the contractor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from the RFP, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make a contractor ineligible for award.
