Description

Pricing Sheet Performance Work Statement Wage Determination 1. This announcement is a combined synopsis/ solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in the notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The United States Coast Guard (USCG) will award a single Firm Fixed Price type contract. 2. The solicitation number is HSCG41-12-Q-QWP301 and is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). 3. This is set aside for small business. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) code for this requirement is 721110; the small business standard is $30,000,000. 4. The solicitation document, and the incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-59. The USCG intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Contract to provide venue services to support the 2012 Human Performance Technology (HPT) Workshop. The venue services shall include various meeting rooms, common areas for meet and greet, displays, and registration, and secure storage area, audio/visual equipment and support, and internet connectivity in accordance with the attached performance work statement (PWS). All responsible sources within a 20 mile radius of USCG Training Center, Yorktown, VA 23690 may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. 5. The USCG intends to acquire the following items: ITEM 0001: Venue Services for Human Performance Technology (HPT) Workshop. The performance period for these services September 10-14, 2012. 6. The point of contact for this procurement is SKC Jennifer Rehberg. The offeror shall submit an electronic version of the quote in word, excel, or adobe pdf format by noon, Thursday, May 31, 2012 via email to jennifer.l.rehberg@uscg.mil. CG 912 Clauses - Organizational Conflicts Of Interest for Contracts Awarded By the U.S. Coast Guard Office of Contract Operations (a) The contractor warrants that to the best of its knowledge and belief, and except as otherwise disclosed, he or she does not have any organizational conflict of interest, which is defined as a situation in which the nature of work under a government contract and a contractor's organizational, financial, contractual or other interests are such that: (1) Award of the contract may result in an unfair competitive advantage; or (2) The contractor's objectivity in performing the contract work is or might be otherwise impaired. (b) The contractor agrees that if after award he or she discovers an actual or apparent organizational conflict of interest with respect to this contract, he or she shall make an immediate and full disclosure in writing to the contracting officer which shall include a description of the action which the contractor has taken or intends to take to eliminate or neutralize the conflict. The government may, however, terminate the contract for the convenience of the government if it would be in the best interest of the government. (c) In the event the contractor was aware of an organizational conflict of interest before the award of this contract and intentionally did not disclose the conflict to the contracting officer, the government may terminate the contract for default. (d) The provisions of this clause shall be included in all subcontracts and consulting agreement wherein the work to be performed is similar to the service provided to the Government by the prime contractor.
