Description: PRESOLICITATION NOTICE SPS Flooring The Department of Veterans Affairs, 1601 Brenner Avenue, Salisbury, North Carolina has a requirement for a contractor to provide all labor, material, supplies, equipment, transportation, permits, license and qualified supervision for Project SPS Flooring at the Salisbury VA Medical Center, Salisbury, North Carolina. The work will consist of general demolition, construction, mechanical and electrical work necessary to replace the flooring and associated items at Medical Center. All work performed must meet all applicable codes and regulations. The period of performance is 30 days for the entire project. Estimated construction cost is between $25,000 and $100,000. This is a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set-Aside. Bidding material will be available on/about June 4, 2011. The specifications, drawings and amendments/notices, if any, will be posted on this web site. Proposals will be due 35 days after issuance of the solicitation. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not a request for proposals. The Government is not obligated to issue a solicitation as a result of this notice. No other information is available until issuance of the solicitation. No bidders list is maintained. All interested vendors should register on this website. It is the offerors responsibility to check the web site periodically for any amendments/notices to the solicitation.
