Description

This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov/ and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil/ While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by NSWC Crane. Solicitation will be issued for a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) five-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for the repair of the AN/APS-115 Magnetron. The AN/APS-115 radar set is used in the P-3C aircraft. The ordering period is 5 years with a combined total minimum quantity of 1 each and a combined total maximum quantity of 320 each for Major Repair of the AN/APS-115 Magnetron. The delivery shall be FOB destination. Initial delivery of repaired units shall commence 180 days after issuance of a delivery order. Inspection and Acceptance will be at Destination. This acquisition is a full and open competition and all responsible Offerors may submit an offer that will be considered. The Government intends to award the procurement for repairs of the AN/APS-115 Magnetron to the responsible Offeror whose offer is the Best Value to the Government based on Past Performance and Price as described in the solicitation. This solicitation will be available to download via WWW at http://www.fbo.gov/ and/or https://www.neco.navy.mil/. No hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed. To download and view these documents, you will need the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader. This software is available free at: http://www.adobe.com. All changes to the requirement that occur prior to the closing date will be posted to FedBizOpps and/or NECO. It is the responsibility of interested vendors to monitor FedBizOpps and/or NECO for amendments that may be issued to this solicitation. For changes made after the closing date, only those offerors that provide a proposal will be provided any changes/amendments and will be considered for future discussions and/or award. To be eligible for award, interested Offerors must be certified under the Joint Certification Program and provide confirmation as detailed in the solicitation. Proof of JCP registration must be provided prior to being issued some of the technical information. More information will be provided in the solicitation. Offerors may obtain certification information via the internet at http://www.dlis.dla.mil/JCP/default.asp. In addition, to be eligible for award, Offerors must be properly registered in the Government ™s Central Contractor Registration (CCR).
