- ****CONTACT JANET APPLETON (ARCS) ONLY FOR TECHNICAL QUESTION OR TO SUBMIT QUOTES AT JANET.L.APPLETON@NASA.GOV OR FAX TO 256-544-6560***** This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. NASA/MSFC has a requirement for assorted parts built same as or equal to a Taber Model 5132. Attached to this solicitation is a list of part numbers with descriptions. This procurement is a total small business set-aside. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. Offers may be submitted in your standard companies format. Delivery to Marshall Space Flight Center will be determined upon review of all quotes received. Delivery shall be FOB Destination. Offers for the items(s) described above are due by 5/25/2012 4:00 p.m. CST to Janet Appleton at janet.L.appleton@nasa.gov and must include, solicitation number, FOB destination to this Center, proposed delivery schedule, discount/payment terms, warranty duration (if applicable), identification of any special commercial terms, and be signed by an authorized company representative. Offerors shall provide the information required by FAR 52.212-1 (FEB 2012), Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, which is incorporated by reference. If the end product(s) offered is other than domestic end product(s) as defined in the clause entitled 'Buy American Act -- Supplies,' the offeror shall so state and shall list the country of origin. FAR 52.212-4 (FEB 2012), Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items is applicable. FAR 52.212-5 (MAY 2012), Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items is applicable and the following identified clauses are incorporated by reference: See attached terms and conditions. The NFS may be obtained via the Internet at URL: http://www.hq.nasa.gov/office/procurement/regs/nfstoc.htm All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. However, any award from this RFQ will require the potential vendor to be certified within the Online Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) Databases prior to award. All contractual and technical questions must be in writing (e-mail or fax) to Janet Appleton no later than 5/18/2012 12:00 p.m. CST. Telephone questions will not be accepted. Questions, if any, will be posted no later than 5/22/2012. Selection and award will be made to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offeror, technical acceptability will be determined by review of information submitted by the offeror which must provide a description in sufficient detail to show that the product offered meets the Government's requirement. NASA Clause 1852.215-84 (NOV 2011), Ombudsman, is applicable. The Center Ombudsman for this acquisition can be found at http://prod.nais.nasa.gov/pub/pub_library/Omb.html. Questions regarding this acquisition must be submitted in writing (e-mail is preferred) no later than 5/18/2012 by 12:00 p.m. CST to JANET.L.APPLETON@NASA.GOV.
