- Solicitation Provide services for pre-commercial tree thinning of 281 acres of young growth timber in stands located on the Tongass National Forest; Sitka Ranger District. The contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, and supplies, except those designated as government furnished. This contract will have four items and will be administered by the Sitka Ranger District. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation Subpart 5.2-Synopses of Proposed Contract Actions, Paragraph 5.202 Exceptions, Subparagraph (13) a synopsis will not be issued. This proposed contract action meets the criteria in that: 1. The amount is not expected to exceed the simplified acquisition threshold. 2. The notice of proposed contract action through Federal Business Opportunities website. 3. Quotes may be submitted by email to: kimtoland@fs.fed.us
