- Description
- The U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) has a requirement to provide commercial hosting services and support for the USCG Human Resources (HR) Management, Payroll, and Learning Management system, Direct Access, as well as the HR document imaging solution. The contractor shall provide the hardware, software, maintenance and support necessary to host the system, and include performance and availability service level agreements; high speed network connectivity; Internet accessibility; and compliance with security requirements for network and data. A Request for Information (RFI) was previously released for this requirement under HSCG23-12-I-PCI101. The current version of the operating system for the PeopleSoft 8.0 is operating on an Oracle 9.i database, and the operating system is UNIX. The RFP is expected to be released the week of 21 May 2012 via the Federal Business Opportunity (FedBizOpps) web page at www.fbo.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation and specification will not be issued. It is incumbent upon offerors to monitor the FedBizOpps web page for RFP release and all subsequent amendments. The NAICS is 518210, Data Processing, Hosting, and Related Services. The USCG intends to conduct the solicitation as a commercial, competitive award under FAR Part 12. Award will be made to the responsible offeror whose proposal contains the combination of those criteria offering the best overall value to the Government using the tradeoff process in accordance with FAR 15.101-1.
