Description

IEEE Explore Sole Source Justification Public Announcement of Intent to Purchase on a Sole Source Basis. The Government intends to procure: AFIT electronic access to IEEE Explore Digital Library for five (5) simultaneous users. The period of performance is 12 months. NAICS: 519130, FSC: 7630, SIZE STANDARD: 500 employees. The government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. This synopsis is being published for informational purposes only. The proposed source is Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Inc. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the Air Force. The Government will consider any responses received within 4 days of issuance of this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement, and the Government does not intend to pay for any information received in response to this announcement. Any quotations should be emailed to Enshane Nomoto at Enshane.Hill-Nomoto@wpafb.af.mil no later than 18 May 2012, 2PM EST.
