- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 13, as supplemented with additional information in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a separate solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation Number NEEB3000-12-02008 is issued as a request for quotation. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 334119 and the Small Business Size Standard is 1,000 employees. The U.S. Department of Commerce, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Environmental Satellite, Data and Information Services (NESDIS), specifically the Fairbanks Command and Data Acquisition Station (FCDAS) has a requirement for the annual maintenance and support for the FCDAS and Barrow Uninterruptable Power Source (UPS) systems including batteries, travel to and from the site, labor replacement parts, tech support, call management, field modifications, emergency telephone support 7 days/week, 24 hours/day. Maintenance Service and Support Services are required as follows: 1. Service Support Agreement (SSA) for Technical Support at site: Fairbanks AK - UPS battery bank annual maintenance renewal for 12 months of service. Uninterruptable Power Source (UPS) E6TUPS500 SN 208488.01 - Four strings of 40 batteries per unit. 320 batteries total. Service support will include: 1 preventative maintenance site visit for the UPS system and 2 preventative maintenance site visits for the batteries. 24 hour response time on site is needed and 24 hours 7 days per week telephone technical response time. 2. Service Support Agreement (SSA) for Technical Support at site: Barrow AK - Barrow is a remote site located on the North Slope of Alaska. UPS battery bank annual maintenance renewal for 12 months of service. Utility Uninterruptable Power Source (UPS) G3TUPS15, S/N A03-11733 (2) S2V285F internal 20 batteries. Service support will include: 1 preventative maintenance site visit for the UPS system and 2 preventative maintenance site visits for the batteries. 24 hour response time on site is needed and 24 hours 7 days per week telephone technical response time. UPS system measures 62.4" X 32.8" X 35.5". The period of performance for each SSA is from Date of Award through 03/31/201. The resulting purchase order shall be awarded on a firm fixed price. The award shall be made to the vendor offering the best value to the Government with the award going to the vendor first meeting all of the requirements and then price. The Government reserves the right to make one award or no award at all as a result of this solicitation.
