- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a Broadcasting Studio Project. Quotes are being requested and this solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quote. This procurement is not restricted. The NAICS code is 334220 Radio and Television Broadcasting and Wireless Communication Equipment Manufacturing with a size standard of 750 employees. This solicitation will close June 1, 2012, 3pm, EST. Questions must be received in writing NLT 21 May 2012, 3pm, EST. All questions and answers will be posted to FEDBIZOPS NLT 24 May 2012 3pm, EST. Please submit your quotes with as much detail as possible, A site visit can be arranged if necessary, please email Margaret.l.sullivan@us.army.mil asap with your request. The offerors quotes must include both technical and price proposals based on the minimum SOW requirements. Selection will be made based on the offerors ability to meet minimum requirments and best price. Please submit your quotes in writing on letterhead with tax id#, CCR (CAGE code) and dated with a point of contact. Please provide a firm fixed price proposal. Purpose: The purpose of this SoW is to define the necessary skill sets required to implement the desired lighting solution at the new Massachusetts National Guard Joint Force Headquarters building. The contractor must meet the following requirements as a minimum: Contractor must be primarily focused in the design and building of television studios Contractor must be familiar with broadcast standards ** Please see the attachment in Additional Documents for the full scope of work. _________________________________________________________________________ The Government intends to evaluate proposals and make awards(s) without discussions with offerors (except for needed clarifications as per FAR 15.306(a). Therefore, your initial proposal should contain your best terms, as it pertains to cost/pricing. Do not assume you will have the opportunity to clarify, discuss, or revise your original proposal. At Governments discretion, offerors may be asked for more information or to clarify their offer, request for such information doesn't constitute discussions. However, the Government reserves the right to conduct discussions if the Contract Officer later deems it necessary. The Government will award a BPA resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror or offerors whose proposal conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered.
