Description

This announcement serves as a Sources Sought synopsis issued for the purpose of market research in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10. This Sources Sought is issued solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation nor is this a request for quotation or proposal. Please do not submit a quote or proposal in response to this synopsis. The purpose of this Sources Sought synopsis is to gather market research to assist NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS) in acquiring process improvement, reengineering, and data contractor support services in support of NAVSUP Business Systems Center (NAVSUP BSC) post Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP). The required services will establish the frameworks, processes, systems, and organic knowledge necessary to create a sustainable organization to perform, maintain, and support the required services. NAVSUP WSS reserves the right to determine if a small business set-aside is appropriate. In order for NAVSUP WSS to make a small business set-aside determination, it is emphasized that small business concerns provide sufficient written information to indicate their capacity and capability to successfully perform and manage all task areas described in the attached Statement of Work. The proposed Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract is anticipated to be a firm-fixed price contract with a base period of one year with three one-year option periods. Although this Sources Sought synopsis has been issued under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 561210 (Facilities Support Services) with the corresponding small business size standard of $35.5 million, the following NAICS code is also being considered: 541611 (Administrative Management and General Management Consulting Services) with a small business size standard of $14.0 million. Vendor comments are welcomed concerning the appropriateness of the NAICS codes. The draft Statement of Work for this requirement is attached. The information provided in response to this Source Sought synopsis shall include the following: Company profile/information Company ™s capabilities that demonstrate their ability to fulfill the requirements of the attached draft task areas. If there are task areas for which the company cannot fulfill the requirements, a detailed description as to how the company will fill in the gap(s) is required. Teaming is encouraged. Company ™s proof of qualifications/experience as required in the attached draft task areas (resumes). All responses should be submitted via FedBizOpps. Questions should be submitted to Jennifer N.
