Description
Amendment 0004 The reason for this amendment is to allow for scheduled site visits and to allow for additional requests for samples. 1. Contractors who are interested in scheduling a site visit may do so by contacting USEPA Remedial Project Manager Tim Gallagher at 215-814-3196. All site visits must be completed by close of business on June 29, 2012. 2. The Government will provide up to three (3) five gallon bucket samples upon request. Contractors who are interested in obtaining samples may do so by submitting requests via email to Ryan Parker at parker.ryan@epa.gov. Requests must be made by 4:00 pm EDT on June 29, 2012. The request must include a valid shipping address and the name of the person responsible for accepting the samples, as well as the number of samples requested. If the request does not include the required information, the government will not provide the samples. The organization making the request is solely responsible for providing accurate shipping information. If samples are returned as undeliverable, the government will not attempt subsequent delivery, nor will it provide notice to the requester. Each bucket will contain material from a sample point on each of the four "sides" of the pile. The buckets will be shipped, via UPS or equivalent, to the person and address given in the request. Because of the size and nature of the pile, the Government cannot guarantee that the contents of each bucket will be identical, or that the contents of any bucket will reflect the exact composition/measurement of the metals that may be found throughout the site. The Government does not want, nor will it accept, any returned samples. It is the requesters' responsibility to dispose of their samples in accordance with all applicable Federal, State, and local laws and regulations. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged.
