- Brand Name Justification The Air Force District of Washington Contracting Directorate, 1500 West Perimeter Rd., Suite 2750, Joint Base Andres, MD 20762, intends to procure BMC Remedy System Support and Maintenance. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement is a 100% Total Set-aside for Small Business IAW FAR 19.502-2. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 541519 with a business size standard of $25.5 million dollars Solicitation/Purchase Request Number F1DT862121AC01 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This document incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-58 effective 18 Apr 2012. NOTE: Brand Name Justification and Description of Item/Services Attached The Government intends to award open (1) contract with four (4) contract line item numbers: Description of Items: CLIN 0001 Description: BMC Remedy IT Service Management Suite Fast Track Support Line, Part Number, LPU93BMSU93F, QTY 1, Unit Price_____, Extended Amount _______. CLIN 0002 Description: BMC Remedy Suite - Floating User Add-On License Fast Track Support, Part Number LAW39BMSW39F, QTY 40, Unit Price ______,Extend Amont _________. CLIN 0003 Description: BMC Remedy Suite - User Add-On License Fast Track Support, Part Number LAV23BMSV23F, QTY 20, Unit Price _________, Extended Amount CLIN 0004 Description: BMC Remedy Self Service - Floating User Add-On License 25 Pk Lsn - Fast Track Support, Part Number LAW37BMSW37F, QTY 1, Unit Price_____, Extended Amount____________. 1. HQ AFOSI has a requirement for software maintenance and support of Government owned Remedy BMC licenses. AFOSI uses Remedy BMC software for helpdesk ticket creation and tracking. This contract will provide software support including bug fixes, patches or workarounds in order to cause Remedy to operate in conformity current operating documentation, and allows access to new releases or versions customers without additional charge. In addition, this support will allow AFOSI access to on-the-phone technical assistance for configuration, trouble-shooting, etc. 2. BMC Remedy shall provide technical assistance to AFOSI via the phone Monday-Friday from 7am to 5pm. In addition, as part of this support requirement, AFOSI will have full access to the BMC Remedy website including newsletters and general product information, and electronic ticket and problem resolution services online. BMC Remedy shall provide bug fixes, patches or workarounds as necessary within 2 days of request or release 3. The government will maintain ownership of the Remedy BMC licenses listed below. 4. Normal hours of operations are from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday with the exception of federal holiday. 5. HQ AFOSI, the owner of this requirement, is located at Russell Knox Building at 27130 Telegraph Rd, Quantico VA 22134. Most support will be provided via the phone or internet. 6.
