Description

This is a Sources Sought Announcement only. The VA Central California Health Care System located at 2615 E. Clinton Ave., Fresno, CA has a need to hire an Architect/Engineering firm to prepare the Schematic Evaluation, Design Development Drawings, Construction Documents, Specifications, and Cost Estimate for all disciplines as necessary to gut (or partially gut) and remodel the east wing of the 1st floor of Building 1 (~8,850 gsf) and to construct an addition (~9,000 gsf) by expanding the east wing to the south onto the lawn area at the front of the building. This project will allow for the relocation and expansion of the Imaging Service which is now located on the 2nd floor of Building 1. At this point in the procurement process, the Department of Veterans Affairs is performing market research to determine if sufficient competition exists in one of the following Socio-economic categories: Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, Veteran Owned Small Business, Hubzone Small Business, and Small Disadvantage Business (8(a)). Interested firms fitting one or more of these Socio-economic categories should send their information by email to mandy.aguirre@va.gov or by fax to 559-237-8538 no later than 4:30 PM Pacific Time May 22, 2012. Information shall include type of socio-economic category and the firms' location. NOTE: The Prime A/E firm shall have a working office located within 150 miles of the VA Central California facility. No other information is required. The NAICS code for this procurement will be 541310.
