- Description
- Attachment J-2 - Budget Template An independent judicial system plays an important role in holding public officials and institutions accountable, fighting corruption within public administration, and ensuring that nobody, regardless of rank or position, is above the rule of law. This project, henceforth referred to as the “Project,” in collaboration with the Peruvian Judiciary, the Special Commission on the Implementation of the Criminal Procedure Code (Special Commission), the Peruvian Public Ministry, and other key judicial actors, will support the sustainable development of tools, systems, and skills so that the Peruvian judicial system can effectively fulfill that role. The Project will build the capacity of judicial actors and institutions to investigate, manage, and resolve corruption cases under the CPC. It will also strengthen the judicial system’s capacity to address corruption from the “bottom up” by working with civil society organizations to educate the public and monitor the system.
