Description
CONSTRUCTION PROJECT - (5) Safe Patient Handling Lifts and Modification, New Mexico Veterans Administration Health Care System (NMVAHCS), Albuquerque, NM. The New Mexico Veterans Administration Health Care System (NMVAHCS), Albuquerque, NM 87108, has a requirement for two new ceiling mounted lifts to assist in lifting and transferring patients, ambulating patients, repositioning patients and other patient handling tasks on the Spinal Cord Injury physical therapy unit. The room modification requirements will meet the new Veterans Paralyzed veterans design guide for Spinal cord injury units. The lifts shall be LIKO brand as they will serve to complete and modify the current ceiling lift installation project. Only authorized agents of LIKO may install or modify the patient lifts and assumes all liabilities for engineered safety for their products and installation. A full scope of work will be included in the solicitation documents. Performance Period is 90 calendar days after receiving Notice to Proceed. Complete drawings and specifications will be included in the solicitation document that will be available on FedBizOpps on or about May 25, 2012. Information regarding a formal pre-proposal site visit (including time, date, and meeting location) will be provided in the solicitation. Solicitation responses will be due in the Contracting Office no later than Friday, June 15, 2012 at 2:00pm MST. Proposal submissions shall be electronic copies submitted via the VA Vendor Portal. Information and instruction regarding the VA Vendor Portal will be included with the solicitation. Telegraphic, email, and facsimile proposals ARE PROHIBITED. This project requires the proposers/contractors to secure bonding. NOTE: ALL DATES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE. SEE SOLICITATION FOR OFFICIAL DATES, TIMES, AND LOCATIONS OF SITE VISITS AND DEADLINES. All proposers shall be registered and verified in the www.ccr.gov and www.vetbiz.gov and https://orca.bpn.gov/ in order to be eligible for award. This procurement is 100 percent set aside for Service-Disabled, Veteran-Owned, Small Business (SDVOSB). The NAICS code is 238290. The associated size standard for this procurement is $14 million dollars in average gross annual receipts for the preceding three years. Project Magnitude: Between $100,000.00 to $250,000.00. Award is subject to availability of funding.
