- Description
- This is a synopsis for a commercial acquisition using Commercial Acquisition procedures (Reference FAR Part 12) and will be negotiated pursuant to FAR Part 15. The 11th Civil Engineering Squadron has a requirement for Base Refuse services. The proposed contract will be a competitive set-aside for HUBZone small business concerns. Offers from other than HUBZone small business concerns will not be considered. This acquisition will not be awarded using full and open competition. This service will be conducted at Joint Base Andrews, MD. Period of performance is five (5) years; a base year of twelve (12) months and four (4) option periods of twelve (12) months each. The anticipated effective date will be 1 Oct 12. The government intends to make a single award to the offeror that represents the best overall value considering price and past performance. Solicitation No. FA2860-12-R-0029 will be issued as a Request for Proposal. It is advertised with a North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 562111. The solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 11 Jun 12 at www.fbo.gov. Proposals should be submitted via e-mail to sharnte.crown@afncr.af.mil. Questions you may have regarding this impending acquisition should be submitted to the POC after the solicitation is posted. NO HARD COPIES OF THE SOLICITATION WILL BE ISSUED FOR ANY REASON.
