- The attached RETURN PACKAGE is for your convenience only. The full solicitation package must be obtained via the instructions found in the description portion of this advertisement notice. The United States Postal Service intends to enter into a firm fixed price construction contract for work associated with the Seattle WA Vehicle Maintenance Facility, specifically the associated multi-level parking structure, located at 2460 4th Avenue South, Seattle, Washington, 98134-9351. The work is generally described as converting the unconditioned concrete parking structure into conditioned space to be used for mail processing and delivery operations. A comprehensive description of the scope of work can be found in the solicitation documents. The estimated cost of the work is between $2.5m and $3.0m, with a contract duration time of 300 calendar days. A pre-proposal meeting will be held Monday, May 15, 2012 at 1:30pm PST. The location of the pre-proposal meeting is 2460 4th Avenue South, Seattle WA 98134-9351 in the Conference Room. Attendance is encouraged but NOT mandatory. After registering at the Postal Service eSourcing website, and after being notified electronically that the registration has been accepted, interested Suppliers MUST contact Tracy Banks, via telephone or email, at the number and email address listed herein to ensure they are properly INVITED to this solicitation event. Once a Supplier receives the event invitation, the Supplier MUST ACCEPT the invitation in order to be fully recognized by the system.
