- Description
- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers intends to negotiate and award a sole source contract with Eagle Forestry Services Inc citing FAR part 6 subpart 6.302-1. To the best of the Government's knowledge, there are not any other firms that can satisfy this requirement. The work to be done under this contract consists of providing 971 square miles of 4-Band Orthophoto digital imagery of the 2011 flood on USB hard drives. Imagery must be Half-Meter (50 cm) resolution and shall have been taken in the Memphis District area of operation during the peak of flooding in May 2011. Award of this contract will be in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS, however interested firms may submit a capability statement in response to the above requirement with cost/price information by May 11, 2012 @ 011:00 AM CST to Jackie Primer, Contract Specialist, Phone: (901) 544-3340, Fax: (901) 544-3710, Email: Jackie.primer@usace.army.mil. A determination by the Government not to open competition based responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
