- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ, intends to negotiate on a non-competitive basis with Concepts NREC, White River Junction, VT, for a modification to contract N68335-04-C-0239. This effort is for engineering services to evaluate recent in-use fleet failures of Torque Measurement System equipment components. Under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1), FAR 6.302-1, this firm is considered the only source as the Government does not possess the technical information to permit full and open competition. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to open this requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of this notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
