- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared inaccordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number for this request for quotation (RFQ) is N66001-12-T- 7341. The government is soliciting quotes for the purchase of a commercial item. This requirement will result in a firm fixed priced purchase order. This is a small business set-aside. The applicable NAICS code is 332429 and the business size is 500 employees. Item 0001 Modify PAC SAIL 12-foot support van 1 lot $___________ or ISO container SPECIFICATION: Contractor would need to cut down a 20' or 40' van and modify to meet the design length of 12': 1. Van overall dimensions L: 12' W:8' H:8' In the drawings a 2' section to the back of the van has been added which will be used for storage of tools. 2. Power: 120 VAC @ min. 100 AMPS for Payload, 220 VAC @ 40 AMPS for ECU. (Note location of transformer). 3. Marine grade standard personnel doors. Door at storage not required to be marine grade. 4. Fork-lift pockets on sides and ends of container. 5. Exterior finish; Prime and paint IAW marine grade standards, Color White. 6. Interior walls; Drywall with insulation 7. Interior outlets. See drawings for locations. 8. Flooring; Vinyl tile (Note Unistruts are flush on floor). Unistruts along walls to be used to strap equipment. 9. Environmental control unit (A/C & Heat) 10.Interior lighting. See drawings. 11.Cable pass-through's See drawings. 12.External mounting points. See drawings. These will be used to anchor items on outside of van. 13. Interior folding wall desk and wall mounted cabinet. Drawings for PACSAIL 12-foot container are attached. This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular Fac 2005-58, Effective 18 Apr 2012 and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), DPN 20120420 (Effective 20 Apr 2012) Edition.
