Description

Notice of Intent: The VAHMCS, Baltimore, MD, VISN 5, in accordance with Public Law 109.461, intends to award a SDVOSB set-aside for Staff Development Services. If a SDVOSB does not meet the requirement, a VOSB set-aside may be awarded according to IL049-07-08 and 38 U.S.C. § 8127. This is a direct requirement for the Education Office / Human Resources for VISN 5, Department at the Department of Veterans Affairs, Baltimore, MD 21201. NAICS Code 611430 applies and the Size Standard is $7 million. The Period of Performance will be for a base plus four option years estimated from the date of contract award. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. It is not a solicitation or a request for offerors. No solicitation package is available at this time. A determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice (VA245-12-Q-0222) must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses must be received no later than 3:00 PM (EST) on 10th of May 2012. No telephone inquiries will be accepted.
