Description

Synopsis: The Department of the Interior, National Park Service (NPS) intends to issue a Request for Quotations (RFQ) P12PS00568 to obtain Septic Tank Pumping and Disposal of Sewage Effluent including pumping, hauling and disposal services at Valley Forge National Historical Park, King of Prussia, PA by means of an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract. The work includes providing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, supplies, transportation and supervision for pumping and hauling services to remove sewage from various designated septic tanks and vaults on an as call as needed basis throughout Valley Forge National Historical Park, King of Prussia, PA, located in Chester county in Pennsylvania. All work will be ordered via written Task Orders by the Contracting Officer. All sludge and waste water shall be removed from the park and disposed of in compliance will all applicable State and Local requirements. The intended contract will consist of a base year period and 4 option years. This project is being solicited as 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The solicitation including all bid documents will be posted to the websites, http://www.fedbizopps.gov and http://ideasec.nbc.gov on or about 29 May 2012. No hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed or issued. To receive the solicitation package you must download it from http://ideasec.nbc.gov. It is therefore the contractor's responsibility to check the internet site daily for any posted changes to the solicitation. Contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration system in order to receive contract awards. As a security precaution, vendors must register themselves through the on-line CCR system. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 562991 and the Size Standard is 7 million dollars. There will be a site visit, and perspective proposers are encouraged to visit the site to satisfy themselves as to conditions before providing a proposal.
