- The subject requirement is for the acquisition of 1 NSN (1005005504082) for an "EXTENSION BARREL, ASSEMBLY" for a.50 CAL (M2) Machine Gun. A Long Term Indefinite Quantity Contract (LT/IQC) with (1) one base year and (4) four option years is anticipated. The total duration base plus option years shall not exceed 5 years. Small Business Size Standard is 500 for NAICS 332995 and this is a 100% Small Business Set Aside (SB/SA). Full & Open Competition after exclusion of sources applies. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. The solicitation will be available on approximately _____________ at https://dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/rfp. Hard copies are not available. Increments and delivery schedule will be noted on the RFP. FOB Destination is required. Inspection/Acceptance is at Origin. All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote, which shall be considered.
