Description
Modification 03 to Sources Sought W91WAW-12-R-0087 The Sources Sought posted 27 April 2012, has hereby been amended to include the following: 1.Responses to questions received from industry: Question 1: Is this project considered a new requirement? Response 1: No Question 2: If this project is not considered a new requirement; Who is the incumbent? Response 2: Alion Science and Technology, Inc Question 3: What is the contract number? Response 3: W91WAW-07 D-0017 Task Order Number 0014 Question 4: What was an estimated value? Response 4: Estimated value for W91WAW-07 DO-0017 TO 0014 was $15,911,306.00 Question 5: Would you be able to tell me if there is an incumbent contractor for this requirement? If so, could you please provide the contractor name and the contract number that was awarded? Response 5: See responses from Question 2 and Question 3. Question 6: Does the government want the proposed M&S to be verified and validated? Will the M&S be accredited? Response 6: Contractor will not be verifying, validating or accrediting Modeling & Simulation (M&S) that they use. Typically that will be done by an outside organization prior to Government use. 2.Offeror's should provide sufficient information in their capability packages that demonstrate their ability to obtain a rating of Acceptable. Capability Packages will be evaluated by the Government for all responses: a.Offeror's statement(s) of capability b.Offeror's experience and qualification c.Offeror's understanding of the requirement Capability packages will be rated as "Acceptable" or "Unacceptable". 3.Change the due date from 11 May 2012 12:00PM EST to 14 May 2012 9:00 AM EST. Contractors are responsible for all costs for submitting their capability packages. All Capability packages must be submitted to the POC by 0900hrs/9:00 AM EST on 14 May 2012.
