Description
The 711 Human Performance Wing in AFRL, WPAFB OH, anticipates issuing a solicitation for a new program that deals with science and technology research, development, experimentation, and demonstration in the areas of improving the overall Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) Planning & Direction, Collection, Processing & Exploitation, Analysis & Production, and Dissemination & Integration (PCPAD) system performance with emphasis on the human's performance in intelligence analysis. The objectives of this effort include, but are not limited to, the following: (A) Integration into a realistic human-in-the-loop analyst infrastructure in and across the site to support the variety of customer interests in evaluating analyst and analysis tool performance; (B) Development and validation of scenarios and metrics to support human performance evaluation using LVC concepts, technologies, and tools; and (C) Exploitation and the enhancement of virtual and constructive environments and game-based applications and tools to improve human performance evaluation. (D) Develop, implement and evaluate, integrated physiological, subjective, and mission performance measures and metrics; and (E) Assist in the detailed task analysis, organization, and documentation of how analyst tasks are physically and cognitively accomplished; and (F) Intelligence subject matter expertise across the ISR domain. The expertise shall include providing knowledge of utilizing the correct intelligence products for the research. It is anticipated that one contract will be awarded as a result of the solicitation. This will be a Cost-type effort, Cost Sharing is encouraged. A Broad Agency Announcement (BAA), Call 07, is anticipated to be issued against BAA PKD-08-0006 as a Call type solicitation providing more details into this program is anticipated to be released in the JUNE 2012 timeframe, and will be available at www.fedbizopps.gov.
