Description
The Government intends to award a sole sourced purchase order to Research Systems, Inc., Doing Business As - ITT Visual Information Solutions manufacturer of ENVI/IDL software package. This software has been approved by Army Corps of Engineer - Information Technology (ACE-IT) and is currently being used by USACE. Additional licenses shall be purchased under Solicitation number W91278-12-T-0021 against a General Service Administration (GSA) Schedule. Licenses, quantities, part numbers and support services to be purchased are as listed: three (3) ea, part number 21WINFLLIC, ENVI (no IDL included) Windows Network Floating License - includes one year of maintenance and technical support; three (3) ea, part number - 21WINSNLIC, ENVI (no IDL included) Windows Node-Locked License - includes one year of maintenance and technical support; one (1) ea, part number 20WINSNLIC, ENVI+IDL Windows Node-Locked License - includes one year of maintenance and technical support. ENVI/IDL is software designed for processing, analysis and visualization of huge hyperspectral data sets. The processing environment that has been developed from the Coastal Zone Mapping and Imaging Lidar (CZMIL) supporting the National Coastal Mapping Program is currently in use. Award of additional licenses to ITT Visual Information Solution will enable the Corps to effectively coordinate continued support with more user visibility into the next stages of Coastal mapping hardware and processing environment. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. All responses received within 15 calendar days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All questions should be sent by email to Alisa C.
