Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation Number W912EE-12-T-0013 is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) with the intent to award as a simplified acquisition. The solicitation document and incorporated provision and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-54. THIS PROCUREMENT IS BEING COMPETED AS A 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE. The NAICS code for this procurement is 336999, All Terrain Vehicles (ATV's), wheeled or tracked, manufacturing; size standard 500 Employees, for a Firm Fixed Price contract. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Vicksburg District has a requirement to Furnish and Deliver (1) Four Wheeler, All Terrain Vehicle (ATV) and (1) 10'x5' Trailer (For towing the ATV). OFFERS MAY BE QUOTED AS FOLLOWS: Line Item 0001, Furnish & Deliver, Four Wheeler, All Terrain Vehicle (ATV); Quantity: One (1); Unit Price: $__________; Total Line Item Price: $__________. Line Item 0002, Furnish & Deliver, 10'x5' Trailer; Quantity: One (1); Unit Price: $__________; Total Line Item Price: $__________. The government intends to make a single award for one lump sum. Offers for less than the required items requested will not be accepted. The Government intends to award without discussions (while reserving the right to hold discussions if determined advantageous to the Government), and offerors are encouraged to provide their best proposed pricing in their initial offer. TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS: At a minimum, the ATV and Trailer shall meet the technical specifications listed as an attachment to this synopsis/solicitation. The attached specifications can be found by clicking on the link at the bottom of this posting titled "Additional Documentation". Offerors must submit technical data for all equipment offered such as brand, model number, year and/or any other pertinent information necessary for the government to make a determination of technical acceptability. DELIVERY RECUIREMENTS: Delivery is desired no later than two (2) weeks after the date of contract award. Offerors must indicate their proposed delivery schedule with their offer. Delivery shall be made to the following location: (FOB Destination) U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Vicksburg District (MVK) 4155 Clay Street Vicksburg, MS 39180 EVALUATION OF OFFERS: All quotes submitted will be evaluated for Technical Acceptability, Delivery Capability & Price. The government will issue award to the offeror whose quote is the Lowest Price of those determined to meet at least the minimum requirements for Technical Acceptability and Delivery as defined above. Pre-Award Submittals; The contractor shall submit sufficient information for Government to determine the technical specifications, delivery schedule and price of the Items being offered. Failure to submit sufficient information for the government to determine technical acceptability, delivery schedule or price may be cause for rejection of your quote.
