- The U.S. General Services Administration intends to issue a Sole Source purchase order to Atlantic Video Corporation for Audio Video upgrade located at the US Army Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC), Information Technology Lab (ITL) in Vicksburg, Mississippi under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, "Only One Responsible Source." This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, any interested party that believes it is capable of meeting the requirements stated may submit a written capability statement that clearly supports their ability to provide the required products, and services. This acquisition is being procured under NAICS Code -423610 (Electrical Apparatus and Equipment, Wiring Supplies, and Related Equipment Merchant Wholesalers) with a Small Business size standard of 100 employees. Small businesses are encouraged to reply, but large businesses are invited to submit a capability package in which the Government will use to determine the acquisition strategy. Interested parties are encouraged to submit a more suitable NAICS Code along with their capability packages. Contractors are responsible for all costs for submitting their capability packages; Government shall not be responsible for reimbursing any costs in response to this Notice of Intent. Capability statements shall be received no later than 11:00 a.m. Eastern Time on May 10, 2012 and submitted via email to Tracey M. Burress at mildred.burress@gsa.gov. Capability statement is limited to 5 pages. All information received on or before this date will be considered by the Government for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. Performance Requirements: This request is to program and install a multimedia audio visual solution in the Conference Room 1340 and construct an acoustical sound dome assembly within the Information Technology Lab (ITL) corridor. The current audio, video and data technologies have advanced far beyond the capabilities of the existing equipment and must be upgraded. 1 The Contractor shall furnish all necessary labor, material, parts, components, tools, supplies, test equipment, diagnostics and other necessary items to perform maintenance services to keep the equipment cited within this contract in good operating condition. 2 These systems shall be custom integrated to existing display wall features as well as provide automated consistency with Collaboratorium and PK Senter conference rooms. 3The contractor shall provide an ITL corridor audio solution comprised of a pole-mounted 32" diameter dome accommodating up to 7 listeners. The dome system shall be seamlessly integrated with a MAC-driven display wall previously installed. A 2-Channel Stereo Amplifier along with Extron audio distribution amplifiers and passive stereo audio switchers shall be used to control and adjust all audio features. 4The contractor shall provide custom software, mounting hardware, cabling, and vertical equipment racks for a completely integrated solution. 5The contractor shall provide a complete turnkey system in Room 1340. These features shall consist of HDMI, RGBHV, Audio, and Interconnecting cabling for laptops and Extron pop-up units through the assembly. 6 Network integration and custom programming for control systems shall be included to offer the same look and feel as existing conference room. MAV Plus Stereo Audio matrix hardware shall be integrated with Extron and Crestron units with electronic termination points rack mounted. The contractor shall provide DVID SL and DVID M-M cabling along with SYISTP/50 Plenum RGBHV interconnect cabling features for the displays.
