Attachment G- Photos Attachment F- Circular Clarifier Leveling Instructions Attachment E- Site Box Bottom Seal Assembly Attachment D- IOM-6422-29 & 30, Spur Gear Disassembly & Reassembly Sequence Attachment C- Spur Drive Assembly Drawing Attachment B- Clarifier Assembly Drawing Attachment A- Site & Floor Plan Drawings Statement of Work (SOW) ONLY WRITTEN REQUESTS FOR COPIES OF THE SOLICITATION WILL BE HONORED. IMPORTANT: TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL NOT BE HONORED. The contractor shall provide all supervision, labor, tools, equipment, transportation and materials required to perform comprehensive maintenance for two clarifiers including rebuilding the clarifier spur gear drives, replacing the drive motors, leveling the truss arms (&center pier if necessary), replacing the site box seal (aka gasket) assembly, and replacing the truss arm skimmer squeegees. The contractor shall also provide a separate estimate for performing corrosion control/coating of existing steel components as part of Bid Option 1. The contractor shall be fully experienced and qualified in performing clarifier maintenance (5 years minimum) and shall demonstrate competency by providing a list of previous clarifier maintenance with references/contact information, or hire an independent Walker Process Field Inspector (to be approved by the Government) to be on-site during critical time periods including the identification of drive repair/replacement elements and during final leveling & inspection of each clarifier. Contractor must be in accordance with (IAW) statement of work (SOW). All responsible sources that submit a written quotation will be considered. GOVERNMENT FURNISHED MATERIALS: NONE. Performance Period is 30-60 days. Work to be performed July- August 31, 2012. SUBMITTALS DUE PRIOR TO AWARD prior clarifier maintenance work experience (5 years minimum) with reference contact information or proof of ability to implement Walker Process Field Inspection. Bid Option 1 Maintenance of Sewer Resistant Coating for Structural Steel Components the contractor applying the coating shall have at least 5 years experience in applying the coating in a waste water environment. SUBMITTALS DUE UPON AWARD components ordered for Spur Gear Re-Build, Components for Motor Replacement, As-Built Drawings and OIMs per Submittals Requirements of SOW. Lack of adequacy of references shall be at the sole discretion of the Government and may constitute grounds for disqualification. CONTRACTOR SHALL COMPLY WITH requirements of: applicable Coast Guard Safety Regulations, federal, state, and local regulations pertaining to water, air, and noise pollution. ADDITIONAL SPECIFICATIONS OR REQUIREMENTS ARE CONTAINED IN STATEMENT OF WORK THAT WILL BE INCLUDED WITH REQUEST FOR QUOTE DOCUMENTS WHEN THEY ARE ISSUED ON APPROXIMATELY May 17, 2012. A SITE VISIT WILL BE HELD May 31, 2012, APPROXIMATELY TWO WEEKS BEFORE QUOTE IS DUE. (Site visits are not mandatory, but are highly encouraged.)
