- This is a competitive 100% Small Business Set-aside Invitation for Bid (IFB) DE-SOL-0004035. The acquisition is subject to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 237310 with a size standard of $33.5 million. This project consists of furnishing all necessary labor, supervision, materials, licenses, permits, insurance, transportation, and equipment necessary in the construction project. The principal components of work include removing 26.6 miles of 69-KV H-frame wood pole transmission line and constructing 26.6 of single circuit 69-KV transmission line using Government-furnished single-shaft and three pole steel structures where furnished. This project is identified as Davis-Kingman TAP 69-KV Transmission Line Rebuild. All work shall be in strict compliance with the specifications and drawings. The project magnitude is estimated between $5,000,000 to $10,000,000. Place of performance is Mohave County, AZ, between Bullhead City and Kingman. The solicitation, specifications and drawings, and any subsequent amendments will only be available in electronic format, downloadable from the internet free of charge. No CD-ROMS or hardcopy documents will be distributed. Interested parties can download the solicitation at http://www.fbo.gov on or about 23 May, 2012.
