Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC), Albany, New York is seeking potential sources to furnish Uniform rentals, Cleaning, and replacement. The base period of performance for this contract shall begin on, or about June 1, 2012 unless otherwise specified, and shall expire on September 30, 2012 with the option to extend the contract for four 12 month option periods. The VA's intention is to negotiate and award on the competitive basis. The NAICS code for this requirement is: 812332. Size standard is $35.5M. Contract type will be firm fixed price. This is a sources sought notice only; no formal solicitation document exists at this time. Responses to this notice should include the following: name and address of company; business size (large or small); identify whether or not firm falls into any of the socioeconomic categories and any pertinent information which demonstrates firms ability to meet the above requirement. All responses shall be submitted in writing no later than 1PM EST on May 4, 2012 to Justin Rhodes at JUSTIN.RHODES2@VA.GOV.
