Description
QUESTION AND RESPONSE: 1. Who owns the databases, what technology are they running under (MSSQL, Oracle, MySQL, Web Services Data Feed?). RESPONSE: We are expecting an accurate, reliable, and trustworthy commercial off-the complementary and alternative medicine/therapy collection of databases to be provided by the publisher who owns the data/content. The publisher determines the technology. The databases need to be accessible via a commercial website on the Internet 2. Where is the website going to be stored, accessed from? Is there any PHI that will be stored or accessed in the system, if so who is responsible for the HIPAA statement. RESPONSE: The Website will be accessed from the vendor's Website external to the U.S. Army. No PHI will be stored or accessed in the system so a HIPAA statement is not required. 3. Are the patient handouts canned, or will they be dynamically generated. RESPONSE: The database producer will include a collection of patient handouts within the product. 4. What do they mean about Calculators (3.6.11), will they provide them. RESPONSE: The calculators are provided as an additional tool within the database by the database producer. These calculators are a type of medical computer software. Their purpose is to allow easy calculation of various scores and indices, presenting the user with a friendly interface that hides the complexity of the formulas. Most offer further helpful information such as result interpretation guides and medical literature references. Generally, such calculators are intended for use by health care professionals. 5. 3.7.2, when a user download, what type of file are they expecting, DOC, HTML, PDF? RESPONSE: PDF and HTML 6. Also, is there is a spec sheet of some type that has more technical specs than the SOW? The SOW does not have enough detailed specs. RESPONSE: No other specs are available beyond the SOW. (END of QUESTIONs and RESPONSEs)
