Description

Intent to Sole Source: The VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System (VAPHS) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Elekta Oncology Systems, 3155 Northwoods Parkway, Norcross, GA 30071 for a mosaiq connectivity system: 1. Transfer Product License, 2. Varien IGRT Device, 3. RapidArc VMAT 1 Perpetual Interface Treatment Planning System, 4. Connectivity to DICOM RT Varian with 2 days of on site training. This equipment can only be provided by Elekta and no other existing system has been found that has the capabilities of this integral system. A delivery schedule will need to be coordinated and delivered NLT May 10, 2012. This notice of intent to sole source is NOT a request for competitive proposals. Parties may identify their interest, accompanied by supporting literature for the products that meet or exceed what is required by showing that all products are compatible with the CBCT/Rapidarc, Varian Rapiarc VMAT1 Elekta. Reply NLT 5-2-12, 4 PM, EST to Ronald.Kline@va.gov. NO telephone responses will be accepted. Information received will be for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Contracting Officer.
