Description
RFP N00033-12-R-8002 Lubricant Oil Supplies The Military Sealift Command (MSC) requires lubricants and related engineering support services for the MSC Lube Oil Program. The Government is contracting not only for specific products and services, but also for the availability and delivery of these products and services on a worldwide basis within specific time constraints defined by the Contract. The Contractor shall provide products and services, on a worldwide basis, for MSC ships and any other Government owned or Government chartered ships designated by MSC. The lubricants to be delivered under this contract will be used in high, medium, and low speed diesel engines, steam turbines, gas turbines, reduction gears, air compressors, and other shipboard auxiliary equipment. The Contractor shall provide lubricants that meet the standards defined in the Contract. In those cases where the OEM does not certify lubricants by specific brand name, the Contractor shall provide a product that meets the OEM lube oil specifications. Services under the scope of the contract include engineering support services (e.g. services calls and training), technical evaluation, and troubleshooting services. The Period of Performance will include a one-year base period followed by four (4) one-year option periods. Services are being procured by: Military Sealift Command, HQ Contracting, N10 914 Charles Morris CT SE Building 157 Washington Navy Yard, DC 20398-5540 Once the solicitation is posted it will be available on www.fbo.gov and www.msc.navy.mil.
