This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov/ and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil/ While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane Division intends to enter into a 5 year, Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), supply contract. Details for required packing will be included in attachments to the solicitation. Data, per contract data requirements Lists (CDRLs), will be required for each container variant. Inspection will occur at the contractor ™s facility and acceptance will be at destination with F.O.B. Destination. These are inert items and will not require a safety survey prior to award of the as required by DFARS 252.223-7002 and 252.223-7003. This acquisition is set aside for small business. Contractors must be properly registered in the Government's Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and in the Joint Certification Program (JCP) in order to receive the solicitation attachments. Offerors may obtain information on CCR registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-888-227-2423, or via the internet at www.ccr.gov. Information about the JCP is located at http://www.dlis.dla.mil. The solicitation attachments will be posted to FedBizOpps at the same time the solicitation is posted. FedBizOpps may be accessed at http://www.fbo.gov. RFPs will be in portable document format (PDF). No hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed. Offers must be submitted in the format specified in the solicitation. Submitting a bid from the NECO website by clicking on -Submit Bid- does not guarantee offers will be received by the proper person in the correct format. It is the responsibility of the offeror to submit offers via email to the POC at NSWC Crane. To download and view these documents, you will need the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader. This software is available free at: http://www.adobe.com. All changes to the requirement that occur prior to the closing date will be posted FedBizOpps and/or NECO. It is the responsibility of interested vendors to monitor FedBizOpps and/or NECO for amendments that may be issued to this solicitation. For changes made after the closing date, only those offerors that provide a proposal will be provided any changes/amendments and will be considered for future discussions and/or award.
