Description
The Program Manager for Training Systems (PM TRASYS) intends to award a 6-month plus 3 (1 Jul 2012 - 31 Mar 2013) month option sole source bridge contract in support of West Coast Contract Operations and Maintenance Services (COMS). The estimated value is $11M. The proposed contract action is to procure operation and maintenance services for range facilities and training devices/equipment at Marine Corps Base (MCB) Camp Pendleton, MCB Hawaii, MCB Miramar, MCB Okinawa and MCB Iwakuni. The support required involves all related Mobilization, training device/equipment issue, recovery, installation, training, range facility and device/equipment operator support, and familiarization training; inventory control and accountability; equipment storage; preventive/corrective maintenance; technical support for field training; sustainment training; and overall post-fielding program management/administrative support for total equipment visibility and data collection. The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, consumables, equipment, tools and test equipment, and transportation that is not provided as Government Furnished Equipment (GFE), in order to operate and maintain the range facilities and training devices/equipment in a Fully Operational Condition. This includes, but is not limited to: all necessary personnel; corrective maintenance; stand-by corrective maintenance; emergency services and preventive maintenance required to maintain training systems/equipment in a ready-for-use condition, including recurring work such as corrosion removal and painting, touch-up painting and lettering, vegetation management, sign replacement, repairs, physical protection of the training systems and equipment, equipment grounding systems and supply support functions.
