Description

THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract in accordance to FAR 6.302-1(a)(2), only one responsible source. The VA Connecticut Healthcare System, West Haven Campus requires preventive maintenance service on their Reverse Osmosis machines located in the Dialysis Lab. Under statue 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) VA Connecticut Healthcare System, West Haven Campus intends to make a sole source award of this requirement to Mar-Cor Purifications. The proposed contract action is for the service and maintenance for preventive maintenance service on their Reverse Osmosis machines located in the Dialysis Lab at the VA Connecticut Healthcare System, West Haven Campus. The Government intends to award to only one source (Mar-Cor Purifications) under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2). This is a proprietary service available exclusively through one responsible company. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No solicitation document is available.
