- The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division (NSWCCD) has a requirement for Versalink P-1000 and P-250 two part polymers and intends to negotiate a non-competitive three (3) year Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity contract with Air Products and Chemicals Inc located in Allentown, PA 18195 using the procedures provided in FAR Subpart 13. This material will be utilized by NSWCCD, Code 617 to manufacture special hull treatment and blast mitigation components. Air Products and Chemicals Inc is the product manufacturer and possesses proprietary rights to the formulated curative. Air Products has no authorized distributors. A firm-fixed price contract award is anticipated. The small business set-aside has been dissolved. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responsible sources submitting proposals within 15 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Anticipated award date is on or around 01 June 2012.
