Description

SPECIAL NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE The Department of Veterans Affairs, Program Contract Activity - Central intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2), Only One Responsible Source Available, no other source will satisfy agency requirements. The VA intends to solicit and negotiate with Hubbard Radio to provide an on-air radio program, advertising and online promotion campaign to multiple markets across the country targeting Veterans and Federal Employees in order to increase enrollment and access to VA's My HealtheVet Personal Health Record System for Active Duty Service Members, rural Veterans and other Veteran patients. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals/quotes and no solicitation exists for this requirement. However, parties interested in responding to this notice shall submit technical data, including price, sufficient to determine capability in providing the same or similar services. All capability statements received by the closing date of this publication of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Capability statements shall be submitted only by email as a Microsoft Word or Adobe PDF attachment to shon.johnson@va.gov. Statements are due by 4:30 p.m. EDT on Friday, April 27, 2012. No phone calls will be accepted.
